Emotional Well-being

Many times we only give emphasis on what we do, but we don’t pay attention to how do we feel i.e. our emotions. As our actions are important for our physical health, likewise our emotions are important for our emotional health.

For my overall well-being, I have started practicing the Japanese Philosophy of 'Wabi Sabi' which emphasizes on embracing the beauty in imperfections. 

Mindful Thinking: We usually associate mindful thinking as a fancy term. But, it is something that we should practice on a routine basis all the time, in fact mindful thinking should be our second nature. For example, when we eat mindless, we usually overeat and it causes weight gain and an open invitation many health challenges.

Self-care to relieve stress and anxiety: It is very important that we keep a check on our stress and anxiety. This is important because it has been found in many scientific researches that whenever we are stressed we overeat. Emotional or stress eating is one of big causes to lead to overeating.
